Death Peak

... or the Tour d'Anzeindaz, is the peak in the background. The place where I often go to observe chamois. We call it "Death Peak" because it is the place where our ashes will be scattered, hopefully in decades time. Very few people go up to the summit with its spectacular views. It really is the domain of the chamois (I hope to take you, Ros and Trevor, in July). It is accessible wilderness but not at the moment. Walking short distances, I am appreciating distant views and remembered knowledge.

Thanks so much for yesterday's gifts for the Tavayanne Rooves in the snow, most appreciated. Hope you had a good weekend too.
