Forest of Dean 3

I cant leave the Forest of Dean without mentioning the wild boar. Home of the largest population in the UK.  They were extinct 300 years ago but after escaping from a wild boar farm in the 1990s they are very much alive and causing havoc in the forest where they wreck the ground looking for worms. This shot shows where the boar have dug up the grassy banks over the road from our hotel. I did  not see any during my two courses in the forest but  son R saw 3 on Friday night while putting out controls in the dark and some today as he went past the children's string led course which must have been exciting.  We also finished the trail of sculptures in the forest. One especially deserved a blip and is shown in extras
