Turbulent………

………………....…..Waters

Plenty of water where it shouldn’t be!

This view shows the sea overflowing the bank and garden into the car turning bay and further out,  the sand spit is totally under water - with waves we rarely see on this scale.

Tropical cyclone Fehi, downgraded to a storm as it neared NZ, arrived and wreaked havoc to many parts of the country. (NZ)

Homes in coastal areas were filled with water and debris deposited well above the usual high tide mark. Vegetation was ripped out and banks eroded. Water is powerful and has a mind of its own!

Two days later, see my blip on the 4th, the sea is calm and peaceful once again. Only the mess and piles of driftwood remain.

This is Back Blip one of two.
