All day the weather forecast has been promising sunshine and it's never appeared. Above Tarn Hows this morning that clear sky remained tantalisingly distant. Not complaining though, at least it didn't rain. 

Posting this at 4pm and looking out of the window at total cloud cover yet the BBC weather app says it's sunny.
