With the current much publicised controversy over plans for a zip wire across Thirlmere I thought it appropriate to feature Ambleside's very own smaller version. The view rivals any that those hoping to fly across Thirlmere would see. 

Extra 1 (post warmer) is the photo I'd originally planned to blip and extra 2 was also in the running. 

The snow started about 5am and continued until midday.
