Canal reflections

I was working quietly at home today when the phone rang. I answered to to hear teenager, who was sitting her Chemistry prelim shout " the school is burning down". An hour into her exam the fire alarm had gone off and indeed it was a fire so all evacuated. An electrical fire in the boiler room was billowing smoke. 

School is now closed and inside is still her coat, money, keys school books and most importantly her phone. The school will not let us in to pick them up even although the fire was out by 11am and in a different part of the building.
A quick lunchtime walk in the bright sun and I took only two shots of these reflections. It has also been snowing and the garden is white again plus it is bitterly cold outside.
