Pentlands - Hillend, Caerketton and Allermuir

A snowy ride in to work this morning. It didn't snow for long, and as I cycled down hill, the side roads were clear. As headed towards the office, there was more lying snow, but as it was wet, rather than icy, it was ok to cycle on. A shorter than normal commute, but safer given the conditions.

By the time I went for a walk at lunchtime, most of the snow had melted. The Pentlands still had a coating, a view from near Stenhouse, and near to where I took yesterday's sun rise photo.

Bright and clear for the ride home. The first part I rode in bright sunshine. No lights required. It was only nearer home that I needed to switch them on.
