Path into the mist

Perhaps not my normal type of image, but I was drawn to the simplicity of the shot and the suble textures and colours.

It was a promising morning with pockets of mist and fog around, mainly in the more rural areas. I decided to allow myself a few more minutes before getting to work and came across this footpath, which simply disappeared into the distance.
