Weather too bad to go out.

Back home from sunny Gloucestershire and woke up this morning to this view out of the bedroom window. Mr P took one look at the no more than 1" of snow and announced it was too thick to go out and do conservation work. He would have to stay in and watch the cricket on the telly.  I went to the swimming pool. The roads were fine. Mr P was being a wimp.
This garden was great when our sons were small, it would come into its own in the snow, allowing them to toboggan down the slope, past the side of the house into the road. . It was not so good for football which they would play on to the flat bit at the top and run like mad if a ball started rolling down the slope. Perhaps that's how come they got to be so good at running. Now it's just too big and one reason for us wanting to sell up.
