Scapa Bay

A lovely cold and sunny morning here in Orkney. I cycled down to Scapa pier and shot this. Birds around included two great northern divers, twenty-one bar-tailed godwits, thirty or so long-tailed ducks etc. I need to spot some shorter-named birds I think.

Later I went to Finstown and walked the burn through Binscarth wood looking for a reported dipper ( a bird, not a bather!) but did not find it.
