Today was the funeral of Paul Slocombe, an ex colleague of mine for a short period. He was a biker and as the picture shows there was a large turnout of bikes to travel with him on his final journey, he would have enjoyed that.

As everyone says you meet people you haven't seen for years at such an occasion, today was no exception.

I didn't know Paul personally but he clearly touched many lives. It was very fitting to have his bike in the abbey during the service.
