Parting with the Paper round

Today Sam delivered the Cambridge News for the last time.  He's been doing it for three years diligently and without much nagging.  I have been very impressed.

He's given much of last year's money towards the Peru fund but must now concentrate on his GCSE's and attend the after school revision lessons offered.

It felt a little sad, Sam did the round for three years but it was passed down to him by older brother Ben who also did it for three years.  So we've had that bag of papers left on our doorstep for 6.

However, our clients are mostly retired people and their numbers are dwindling.  The two original paper rounds in Linton reduced to one last year with just 20 papers, I'm not sure how feasible it will be to keep it going in a few years time.

We are delighted to have passed the round on to the Sunnyclouds family and hope they will enjoy it as much as we have.
