An Unusual Selfie--

--a portrait of me brought by my cousin Rosy as a gift to tea-time with us this afternoon;  I'm delighted to have it. She painted it ten years ago at a book festival at the Paris bookstore Shakespeare & Co.; the owner is a good friend, and set Rosy up to do portraits of people sleeping in a room at the store.  Meena and Karthik (daughter and husband) came along as well and we had a great time catching up with things. Rosy has a an up-coming show of her sculptures in early April; unfortunately we will have left Paris by then.
