Not the best of days

The day started with sad news at work about one of our lovely families, then working a clinical shift I was in HDU where another frequent flyer was not doing too well, ended up transferred to the local pICU.
Came out of work to my car covered in what looked like snow but was actually solid chunks of ice.
Mc D’s tea as the meat I’d got out of the freezer hadn’t defrosted enough for Kevin to cook, he’d had beans on toast but I didn’t think that would quite hit the spot.
Just time to eat it and Blip this and now I’m off to bed ready for another long day tomorrow.
