Chesterton Windmill

This structure has long been on my 'places to visit' list and well worth the journey.  On our way home from the weekend near Bridgnorth, we diverted off the motorway for a quick look.  It was well worth it to see the splendid 17th century mill - the oldest tower mill in England to retain some of its working parts.  It was a bit of a race against the weather, with the storm rapidly approaching, but we managed some shots before the light went, extinguished by bitterly cold winds and horizontal driving snow; we were very glad to reach the protection of the car.  The snow didn't last long and we completed the journey home with no trouble.
