Riot of passage

My friend Victoria remarked to me in the office, 'you've been in the country a lot...this week'. She's correct that almost two weeks is a good stint by recent standards.

Most of today I was on an interview panel for a Liberia role and we spoke to an excellent candidate who we're excited about.

Between interviews, I ate a ham sandwich and in the evening went to yoga. The yoga studio is a converted council flat, with corridors suitable for a family of four. The manoeuvring around of 40 sweaty yogis in narrow passages who are usually too busy talking about chia seed smoothies to notice that someone needs to pass, usually serves to raise the blood pressure right after the class has lowered it.
