SCULPTURE GARDEN

(Back blip) Sister A2 and I went for an afternoon walk through Farnham Park, and passed this garden which backs onto it. There are always fascinating things displayed on the house and in the garden - it looks as though they're mostly made from found objects.

B and I had been into town earlier to get my phone fixed after an unfortunate water-related accident and while we waited we wandered around and found two plaques marking historical events (extras). I knew about the beams for Westminster Hall - the road is still called Timber Close - but not the two minutes silence. I'm still trying to imagine the logistics of transporting those beams to London in 1395! A lot of oxen and quite a few barges on the River Wey, I reckon.
