Between Showers

7.8C with rain through the morning then brighter with heavy showers. Wind S/SSE to 48 mph with gusts over 60 mph, peaking at 68 mph, between 8am and noon. The wind moderated through the afternoon.

Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and carried on along Hall Street then the park and out Kilkerran road. Quite a few fishing boats in today. Heavy winds kept them in port I expect.

We turned back when we got to the cemetery. There were a couple of showers when we were out. Fergus had his coat on, so his body was kept dry and warm. Not long after we got back there was a really heavy downpour. I was glad to be back and watching it from indoors!
