Lunch

I suppose I shouldn't really blip photos of food, it seems a bit Instagramy. Saying that, I have posted a version of this on Instagram too! :) This is one of two photos I took today on my phone, but the other is of friend Susie trying on mother-of-the-groom outfits, so she'd probably rather I didn't blip her at present.

I started today at a funeral, but it was such a lovely, hope-filled service that I felt uplifted as well as sad. I hadn't been looking forward to going, but in the end I was really glad I did, if only to show support for my bereaved friend.

This evening I'm going for a first in the cooking stakes - spice salted squid from the Persiana cookbook. I'll let you know how I get on!
