The Boatshed.....

.....by the lake at Queen Elizabeth Park in Masterton.

A place for all ages to enjoy, kayaks, row boats and pedal boats are all part of family weekend fun, school holidays to. It's a place where hubby worked during his teenage years, keeping the boats maintained, rescuing those stuck out in the middle of the lake and serving ice creams and lollies.

Today it's a quieter mood as school's in, there's a light breeze sending gentle ripples through the lake, ducks squawking and there's a few people about walking like us. A pleasant 16C, spring is in the air :)

This is a backblip.....during the time emotions were high, low and everything inbetween, it was a huge task to sort and empty the house ready for sale, we got there asyoudo but some days I just couldn't blip, so here I am, quite a while later......
