Walking by Lake Dunstan

The walkers drove to Lowburn, and walked from there to Old Cromwell Town, a distance of 4 k's, (8 k's all up).  The rain stayed away, and so did the wind, which was great.  We had lunch at OCT, then walked back to the cars via the township and local old cemetery.

We had a cuppa at a new café in Cromwell, and all bought something from the new supermarket, which opened last week.  It was squeaky clean, and oh so new and shiny.

The extra photos are (1, 2 and 3) restoring the old hall.  No 4, mural on one of the old buildings, and (5), the old cemetery.

17 of us thoroughly enjoyed the day out.

P.S. I may blip a bit later tomorrow, as it is my birthday, not sure of the final plans yet!!!
