Shiitake Mushrooms

Yesterday I went to the Oxford Farmers’ Market for free range eggs. A man was selling shiitake mushrooms, which I have never tried before. I had some for my dinner this evening. I chose a very simple online recipe. I don’t like recipes with a lot of ingredients. It consisted of baking the mushrooms with slices of garlic and a little olive oil. They were pleasant enough, but the price was a bit steep.
