Snowdrops & Raindrops

G and I were due to go to an photo club shoot today at Wallsingham. The weather this morning was awful and we had an email from the organiser saying not to worry if you didn't fancy going. However, we decided to go along anyway to push ourselves as we do have a tendency to be fairweather photographers and also to support the organiser. I was glad we did as we were allowed unfettered access to a lovely methodist chappel with box pews which you can see in the Extras. Our HHA memberships got us into Wallsingham Abbey grounds for an quick 20 mins before our parking ran out. It was raining a bit more then, but we set about trying to take photos of snowdrops with raindrops on them to make the most of the bad conditions. It looks just wonderful, I've never seen so many snowdrops - but it was very muddy! We hope to also go back in better weather later this week to take the wider scene.

Thanks to KangaZu for the mono Monday challenge to take ourselves out of our comfort zones - it was the motivation we needed to get out on such a cold and wet day!
