Hole In My Life

Today they began making a new exterior door, I had not realised the wall was 2 feet thick! But what's more surprising this hole appears to have been a window once upon a time. From the other side, with a layer of stonework removed, there's another wall with old wallpaper on it. It's changed my whole thinking about how this 120 year old cottage used to be like. A window... out that way... ?!?
