Blips by cb

Waiting . . .

I use the back roads to get to work; it's quicker, although I should vary my route, a hangover from the bad days of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

Over the last few days I've encountered huge lorries waiting to receive their loads of sugar beet, but this morning it was the loader waiting.  I stopped briefly to snap this shot, but handheld at 1/35th second means that it's not as sharp as I like.  But it's an interesting subject, in my view so I've done what sharpening I can in Capture One and presented it as a Blip for today.  I worried that the driver would resent my stopping to photograph him, perhaps worrying that I was obtaining evidence for some enquiry, but we waved at each other so that was fine.

I'm not as good as some Blipers at creating photo opportunities so I'm sure that some would have done a better job at find them on a day of such poor weather.
