A view from Jeanneb

Entrancing entrance.

Yes it could be Narnia again - but it isn't.

Had to get out today to enjoy the glorious afternoon, this time Chris came with me and we did another of the local booklet walks that I did with corinthian column last year.

This one is called 'Two Sides of Wilsden' which is our neighbouring village.

It involves climbing Wilsden Hill and has extensive views over both villages. Bents Lane and Harden can be seen here through the berried hedgerow. View from Wilsden Hill

On the way up the hill we pass this house entrance which I love and can you see the clever window in the wall so that they can sit out and enjoy the view but still be sheltered. Clever. Entrancing entrance 2.

We came back along Bents Lane (Wendles56's route on her bike each day) and spotted this squirrel. Can you spot the squirrel?

Despite all of these lovely sights it was the light through this tree at the entrance to someone's drive just below Sandybanks garden centre on our way home that really caught my attention.

A lovely afternoon and Chris is making a stew for tea! Ahhh!
