Lough Reenydonegan

A frosty start to the day but then what a glorious one - and warmth in that sun too. Himself went off for a walk and I went in search of a well - the one I was looking for a few week's ago: The Ferocious Faery Well. I hadn't heard back from Donal and he was out, so I left a note in door just in case he'd found out any more about it. I had a wander around Donemark and then went on to admire Lough Reenydonegan where said blip was taken on the side of the road, Imagine living in that little white house. A little further on there is a sign saying Save Lough Reenydonegan. It's been there for years and we've yet to find out why it needs saving. It was looking pretty nice today and in the background the Caha Mountains of the Beara Peninsula can just be spotted.  It might do for the WideWed challenge, but there aren't many lines.

We had very mixed feelings about last night's film The Florida Project  and in fact both found it deeply depressing. The reviews are mainly highly positive and yes the acting was excellent, the film well made, the story powerful and grimly ironic but we came out feeling glum for the circle of poverty, neglect and desperation would surely only go on.
