Snake's head

Colder and greyer but the odd burst of sunshine. All the daffs are out and swaying happily in the breeze and then I spotted the first of the snake's head fritillaries - this little clump is unusual in that they are white.

Now I'm worried about Fineen. She has a horrible gouge out of her rump - this seems to be recurring and I thought it might be the result of mating, but on googling (!) it seems it might be mange. This is where it first starts apparently and other symptoms can be a limp (which she has) and a fondness for humans (which she also has).  There's a very good English fox website which recommends homeopathic drops (mostly arnica and arsenicum) on honey sandwiches! Anybody any experience with this kind of thing??
