Nesting time for fulmars

An excellent walk round the cliff tops this morning with Ollie.  It was icy first thing, I had to break the ice on the hens water bowls, but by mid morning the sun had come out and you could convince yourself it was actually warm!  I did come across my first primrose of the year, in extras, still a bit icy round the edges!

Great to see the fulmars back on the cliffs.  They mate for life and come back to the same site every year.  Lots of noisy bickering going on and beak waving at each other!

More time in the garden and sowed some garlic, onions and beans in modules in the greenhouse, so they get a bit of a head start before they go outside in April.  Everywhere you look there are signs of spring!  When it's like this you forget the wind and rain!
