WINTERLANDSCAPE

We were blessed again with a beautiful day.
We started early for our walk. A drive again to Deisel, parked the car near the church and walked uphill the Burgstrasse till we left the highest house behind us. Then a path over the fields with great views. In the extra I show a view.
We ate our sandwich exactly on the same spot (the hut) as we did yesterday. Birds of prey circling above our head.
Then we walked in the direction of the Deiselberg, and soon enough we walked in the snowfields. An exiting experience.
But at some point we had to descend the hill again, sat in the sun, sheltered from the cold wind that blew from the north.
Three deer came out of the bushes and ran over the field. See extra photo if you like. We wondered if that were the same deer that we later saw in the snow, which I show in the main blipphoto?
It has been an adventurous long walk. We were tired as we came home and that was good.
