Wednesday lunch

Our Wednesday girls disbanded as a walking group last December, after our Christmas walk.  However, some of us are still going to meet up fairly regularly for events, outings, and lunches.

So today 23 of us met at the Farm Museum, to discuss ideas for the year, and quite a few ideas were raised.  We had lunch, and some of us walked for an hour before coming back to the Museum café and having coffee. The snowdrops are so beautiful just now and prolific in the woods.  

It was a nice meet up, the first of the year, and we have made arrangements for a March meet up in Edinburgh.

Today was quite mild and very pleasant although not so sunny as yesterday.

While walking we came across some fly tipping, which really spoils our beautiful rural countryside on the outskirts of our town.  I took photos, and have sent them with an e-mail to our Council, hoping for some action to remove these unsightly tips.  We will see.......
