Come On Baby, Light My Fire...

So we have lived in our house for over 6 years now, and never used the fireplace. From what the chimney sweep said on Friday, good chance the previous owners didn't either, as it was apparently pretty clean.

We got some coal and some wood. Made a number of ham-fisted goes at lighting the fire, but we are now on our third fire in three days. The house is still standing, which is a bonus.

It really does add to the atmosphere in the room.
