A Ray of Light

This is for EP15, Light and Shadow.

An excellent day: we saw our friend Audrey (she lives in Dublin) and visited the Corot exhibition at the Marmottan Monet museum with her. As you can guess, there's also a sizeable collection of Monet paintings in the general collection there.

Then we had tea (and a madeleine biscuit) or Viennese chocolate (that was Julie) and talk before heading to our dinner in one of our preferred restaurants in Paris, Chez Fernand. Delightful cuisine! I had a very mushroomy dinner, as both my appetizer and main course had cep sauce. A baked egg to start, then veal sweetbread. And rice pudding for dessert - the sauce was not mushroom this time but caramel...
