Cold One

Went out for a drive in our newly restored vehicle on this cold, misty morning and found ourselves looking down on the medieval hilltop village of Curemonte. We thought we might eat there but every eatery was shut hors saison. So we ended up in Brive la Gaillarde, chez Le Chambon, eating the most delicious thinly sliced beef in a rich mushroom sauce with a side of rosti. Afterwards we visited our favourite wine cave to restock our depleted cellar.
