Shadow Trees

This is the walnut orchard beside our house, which I skirted at the start of my morning walk today.  It was early, very cold, and a little misty.  You can just see our garden wall at the far side of the orchard.  The nearest couple of trees obscure our house on the right.  

From our kitchen window we look through these trees in the other direction, and on misty winter mornings, J imagines that it is through this orchard that the zombies would arrive as they come to eat our brains.
