The dropped stitch

A bright, clear day with a brisk, chilly wind.

Worked this morning, though it was hardly worth it for the number of reads.

Meeting this afternoon. A beginning of season refresher session for volunteer shop workers. It was good to see everyone again. Amongst other things, we compared notes on 'questions from customers'. We stock such a wide range of craft work from many producers and it's fine to have a good knowledge of the different items and the folk who made them.

Came home and planted out the primula which have been waiting at the front door. Well, they started off at the front door, and have been scattered and some emptied out of their pots by the wind. All in the ground now, which is pleasing. Small steps.

The fire is drawing me ever closer, but the plan was dancing tonight in Holm, so the fire will have to go out on its own.
