A Different Perspective

Bright but cold in the east wind this morning.  I took a stroll in the college grounds while Jamie played basketball.  I have admired the snowdrops, aconites and daffodils that light up parts of the college drive for several years so it was good to get up close and personal with them.

These might be old hybrids planted long ago or forms of the wild daffodil, Narcissus pseudonarcissus, also known as the Lent Lily, flowering as they do during the season of Lent.  While yesterday's subject has flowers smaller than a snowdrop, these dwarfed the massed display of white snowies around them.

Jamie had a great time this morning, no pain related repercussions.  Otherwise it's been a gentle day enjoying each other's  companies, reading ... and in my case snoozing - after a disturbed night.
