Signs of Spring?

With all the forecasts of a week or two of really cold weather seeing the miniature Daffodil almost open came as a bit of a surprise.

We were prepping the Lodge ready for incoming guests and I looked at the bed of miniature daffs.  Most are barely showing the bud.  Right in the middle was this one so far ahead of the rest.  With us having guest in residence and our going away on Friday I won't be able to record exactly when it opens.  So this is really a record shot for my own benefit.
