Descending from Kesanki to Tahkokuru

We climbed the shoulder of Kesanki yoday, heading for Hangaskuru. It would have been rude to miss the new hut at Tahkukrun - and very nice it is too.
We decided to see if the paths in the snow heading for the summit of Kesanki were firm enough to take our weight in ski boots. They were. Mostly.
So, we headed to the summit, in sunshine. After a while, it started to snow. Then some more. The wind was strong. The snow came down harder. The visibility dropped. Through my summit fever, I realised the path ahead was disappearing. This was silly, bordering on the dangerous. We turned around and descended.
The photo was taken just before the hut. Those blotches on the picture are snowflakes being hurled at me. 10 minutes later the sun was out.
