Ephesus once one of the larger cities in GraecoRoman times is a huge tourist attraction, and well worth a visit if you like this sort of thing. It is being excavated and developed very professionally on an ongoing basis.
Eye to Eye [Hilary's view] was here a week or so ago, and she and David had the right idea in visiting in the early morning...when we were there the 'main street' was completely filled by a stream of visitors.
