Post celebrations

The population of Kuwait celebrated their National and Liberation Day while I was away, and the picture shows the remnants of one of their popular activities at this time. The photo was taken near home, so I'm glad I missed it. In the past they would have water fights with water pistols. Now that they've been banned, balloons are used instead. Before they used water, I believe it was foam. It looks pretty in the streets, but not so good for the environment.

There's been much needed rain the last few days which will help settle the dust. Dust storms are common here so rain is good.

Back to work today.
