The Kids Are Alright

We met Miss A's pre-school chums at the museum again today - minus Ingrid who was ill, sadly. It was one of those meetings where the kids all got on well initially, then hunger and tiredness got the better of them and the fun disintegrated into some squabbling over lunch. Miss A had specifically asked for one of her friends, Aoife, to come along but they in particular seemed to wind each other up. Maybe that's just how girls operate - the best and worst of friends, all in the space of an afternoon. I actually remember it well myself.

Miss A, Liam and Eva perked up after lunch when we all played hide and seek, this being the most enjoyable and memorable part of the day for them. And why not - culture and education are desesrvedly low down on the priority list when it comes to having fun with your friends.
