snow

this morning there was a proper covering of snow over everything, the road was like a ski slope and our water was frozen. 
It brightened through the day and thawed a bit and we managed to get out for supplies. This evening the weather has really closed in with steady snowfall and bitterly cold winds. There is a red alert for tomorrow,  a major snowstorm expected. We are just just praying that the power doesn't go out.
