Today’s Widwed challenge hosted by Bobsblips is for ‘shapes’ so rather going for a pretty snow scene I thought that this shot taken just after breakfast might be appropriate.  Shapes show the snow covered roof of the house, the fence with bird footprints on the wall and shadows of the lamp post and tree as well as the outlines of flower beds and the path. Shortly after this, S cleared the path but then the tiny snowflakes that are just visible, developed into one of many prolonged blizzards that have been here for most of the day.  The cleared footpath quickly disappeared and now the garden is covered with a deep cover of snow which is almost up to the level of the snow ledge on the wall.
