Snow day baking

I decided to do a wee bit of baking on this snowy cold day. Chocolate cupcakes and maple walnut scones. There were more cupcakes, but my young friend Sarah has already collected them to skilfully decorate at home and (hopefully) share with her family and friends. :) Meanwhile Martin and I will have a warm scone for our ‘elevenses’ .
