Fruit Man

Back-blipped on 1st March
The last day of our holiday. Our flight wasn't until early evening, so we decided to walk around some of the small canals and sois (lanes) which are well off the beaten track. It was really interesting to see the houses and flats tucked away down little alleyways. They were fairly close to the main roads, but like another world, and so peaceful. There were lots of flowers and plants everywhere, and the people we saw seemed really pleased that we were taking an interest in their well-loved gardens. I don't know how much longer places like that will exist - there is a huge amount of building going on, with smaller properties being demolished and skyscrapers going up in their place.
There were all sorts of vendors about with their mobile stalls. This chap was selling fruit.
Mid afternoon we caught a taxi to the airport and said our goodbyes to Thailand.
