Mergus serrator drake.
Isn't he lovely? I popped out in between flurries of snow and Siberian blasts of roch wind to have a wee look at the Water of Leith.
Almost totally frozen, but still a patch or two of open water, where this Red-breasted merganser was diving for fish. You can tell why he's known as a saw-tooth :)
