Withering

I've made my bunch of tulips last as long as possible but the petals are dropping and a bunch of stems is not very pleasing to the eye!

Very dull, cold and windy today with not even a blink of sunshine. The main roads are mostly clear of snow but side roads and pavements still have a hard packed covering .... no sign of any significant thaw yet.
