Liverpool Cathedral

I braved the roads today to head up to The Lakes for a photo workshop at Lakeland Photographic Holidays. I broke my journey with a slight detour to Liverpool, and a visit to the Anglican Cathedral, the largest in Britain. I also surprised to discover that the building of it only started in 1904, and it was completed in 1978.

The building is truely large and even with the fish eye lens it was hard to achieve a floor to roof shot.

Walking round the city later I came across a familiar group of young men [The Beatles], and even later while wandering along Crosby Beach I spotted another young man taking a bit of a "swim" in the Mersey [Anthony Gormley] - Extras
