Almost a beach side "knittie"

It was the family visit weekend for Miss C and her peers at the Snowy River campus.

We decided not to waste time travelling, but to enjoy her company close to where she is on campus. I booked a cabin at Cape Conran and was pleasantly pleased by the cabin itself and the lovely location.
The weather was beautiful too, so we all chilled and did our preferred thing.
I rolled balls of wool from skeins for tje next knitting project, then wandered along the beach; Mlle L determinedly sun baked (nb - several of us asked her to cover up, but the desire for a tan is too culturally ingrained); Miss C read in the shade them came for a chatty walk; Master A excavated bear-trap sized holes in the sand; and Mr E found lots of excuses to not loiter on the beach at all.... and all were happy with their day.

Miss C is flourishing at the camp. It was so good to give her a relaxing day off and to hear her stories.
